PhilippineINDUSTRIAL.com was originally an idea fused by a set of common objectives to provide clients immediate access to timely information, logistical support, product quality assurance, competitive pricing, and prompt delivery, among many others.
Our company founder, Giovanni P. Dee Tan, after obtaining his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from UCLA in 1987 and a 1-year stint at the Great American Savings Bank in Los Angeles, California, returned to the Philippines to rejoin the family business of ball and roller bearing importation and distribution and for the next 34 years, further matured in his knowledge of said business which he first encountered during his teens, helping out his parents after school hours and during summer breaks.
In 2003, he got into the travel dotcom business, specializing in Philippine destinations thru Boracay.com, Palawan.com, Siargao.com and Tubbataha.com.
Amid the doom and gloom of the 2020 global pandemic and the current uncertain economic environment, he believed that life had to go on, that people would have to continue living and going about their daily lives and as a result, businesses would continue to function to meet continuing demands for goods and services. That after the dust settled and the global economy recovered, surviving businesses would be in a better position to quickly reap the rewards. With this belief and not wanting to put his many years of experiences, connections and knowledge in the bearing business to waste, he launched the website,PhilippineINDUSTRIAL.com dedicated to bringing together under one portal, global and Philippine industrial buyers, end-users, suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and dealers.
The internet has indeed put the world at our fingertips, so to speak and yet, PhilippineIndustrial.com continued to gather information from traditional sources such as printed materials, libraries and tri-media and participate in trade shows and exhibits while its cultural affinities with Asia, complement its embrace and practice of the Western business model. PhilippineIndustrial.com further cemented its relationships by making extensive travels in Asia to visit factories and having face-to-face discussions with their decision-makers. These extra efforts have paid off with our appointment as authorized distributor/reseller, consolidator, sales agency, and/or exporter for the organizations/brands we represent.
